Better living through chemistry… This is the second time I’ve had Goya Coconut Soda and both times there has been no ingredients list on the bottle… Nothing. Just a serene label with a graphic of real coconuts and a cartoon palm tree. After trying other coconut sodas this is the first one to really capture that slightly buttery sweet coconut flavor. I imagine some Rasta flavor chemist putting in some overtime on this one… The creamy coconut note flows past the tongue with the carbonation. The body of the drink is just sweet liquid if you hold it in your mouth for a few seconds. Interesting sequence of events… Anyway. Don’t think about all of the chemicals it probably took to get this coconut flavor right, just toss one back and relax. This is the only coconut soda for me!
