My parents gave me four 12-packs of Vernor's to take back from Ohio to Boston this past Christmas. Can't seem to find Vernor's on the East Coast. I grew up sipping this 'barrel aged' bold country cousin of most any commercial ginger ales and sodas. Although very refined compared to a lot of the newer micro-brewed ginger beverages, I bet it runs neck and neck with any of them for originality, blend and burn. You feel this pepper heat in your nose on first sip... Yeah! Almost makes you want to sneeze. Nothing quite like it. Try this for a SURE THING!
