OK. I had passed this soda up in Indian markets and at Medeteranian restaruants many times without thinking about it. Then my friend Batt and I decided to buy some of the cans of carbonated Vimto (it comes in a syrup form also). We were blown away fast! We wished we had had this in Ohio when we were growing up. It is like the best cream ale you can imagine with mysterious herbal undertones... I drink Vimto almost everday now. I prefer the carbonated canned version to adding water to the syrup, although I drink both. The bottled Vimto syrup contains a small amount of saccharin, which isn't listed as a constituent in the canned version. I try to avoid artificial sweeteners altogether, but I don't seem to have a reaction to the saccharin content in a glass or two of the syrup mixed with water.
