Picked this one up yesterday at a local Asian market. Damn... Expired 2 months ago. Already rust on the bottom of this real tin can. Had some bad experiences with beverages packaged like this... Couldn't find much info on Wax Gourd, even with several different Google searches. Here goes... Holy Christ! Rusty water... No, rusty water with fermenting yard waste... Tastes like sweetened iced tea (low/middle notes) left wrapped in a pup tent in the tall grass all the way in the back of your yard. I mean left for 6- 9 months to soak up that stagnant rain and tent fabric flavor (high notes)... I can't get the taste out of my mouth!
